our workshop is equipped to cater for all your cycling needs.

Our staff have undergone training and assessment along with personal expertise to ensure the highest standards of workmanship are applied to your requirements.

There is not always need to pre-book a repair or cycle service, you are welcome to drop in with your bike and, in most cases, we can give you an estimate on the spot.

We offer a wide range of services, a quick turnaround and expert advice is always available in store.

Please try and bring your bike to us in a clean condition so that our mechanics can work safely within Health and Safety guidelines.

If you are unable to clean it yourself, we can arrange it for you at a cost of £5.

A guide to the most frequent service and repair costs is set out below:

  • Standard Service Adjustments, grease, lube, reset gears/brakes and true wheels - £27

  • Brake Service - Standard mechanical (cable) brakes - £12

  • Hydraulic Brake Service - Bleed and reset ( includes fluid.) - £20

  • Gear Service - £12

  • Fit new tube - £8.00

  • Fit new forks - £15

  • Fit new bottom bracket - £10

  • Fit new headset - £10

  • Fit new brakes - £10 per pair

  • Fit new drive-train part - £10 per part

  • Wheel truing - from £7.50 per wheel

  • Cone service - £9

  • Axle replacement - £10

  • Freewheel, cassette or freehub replacement - £10

  • Assembly & Inspection of any cycle - £40 (Free of Charge when the cycle is purchased from Dare Valley Cycles)

  • Fit Accessory - P.O.A (Not charged for accessories purchased from us)

Note: All prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.

Parts are not included in any of the above prices.
